SAULEDA S.A, a leading manufacturer of technical fabrics and sun protection fabrics, consolidates its leading position in the domestic market by acquiring a majority stake in CITEL, a family-owned company with a long tradition in the textile sector and specialized in technical fabrics for outdoor use.
The purchase of the shareholding has the double objective of: preserving a business model based on the values of the family business and on the social and professional roots with the country, as well aspromoting and increasing the productive capacities of CITEL, which will result in an improvement in customer service and a strengthening of the growth of SAULEDA, S.A. as a textile company of worldwide reference.
The acquisition and consequent integration of CITEL into the Sauleda Group does not imply structural changes in the company, which will continue to develop its activity as it has done up to now, but with the productive, operational and logistical advice of SAULEDA, which will result in an improvement of the productive process and the attention to workers, suppliers and customers.
